5 Days left in California!

I can finally here the clock ticking down until I leave for Utah! I am so excited to serve the Lord! On Sunday I gave my non-farewell address. I spoke about testimony and I talked about my struggle to gain my own testimony. I knew a lot about the church but I didn't understand what a testimony was or how to get one. Once I understood it took me a long time before I developed one. I remember praying to know and not getting an answer, it was really frustrating. I am glad that I have a testimony and I am excited to share it with others. Today the house cleaners were over and I was all dressed up to go to the temple. Mary asked me why I was all dressed up. I told her that I was going to the temple and I explained a little about the temple. I left and the whole time I was thinking that I should have given her a dvd of "Between Heaven and Earth" because I knew we had one. When I realized that I forgot my temple bag I knew I had to turn around and do what the spirit was prompting me to do. I went back and offered her a copy. She said no but I still felt good inside because I had followed the promptings of the spirit and I didn't die of rejection! I have one suitcase packed and ready to go. I am so excited!!!!
